Irina Telyukova

Irina Telyukova, Ph.D., RYT-500, is the founder of Be Well Yoga San Diego. She has been teaching yoga since 2004. Since 2010, she has developed and been teaching restorative yoga and meditation classes for Cancer Recovery, to both adults and children, in group classes, private sessions, and at the Rady’s Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology department. Her teaching is down to earth, and guides the students to Be Well in the moment, in any circumstance.

  • Thursday 7:30-8:45 PM – Yoga for Cancer Recovery – Del Mar

The Yoga for Cancer Recovery class is a gentle practice for those in treatment for cancer and cancer survivors, which combines physical and mental practices to achieve the optimal whole-being balance. This yoga sequence of gentle postures and breathing techniques will help you find renewed strength, flexibility, and a sense of physical and mental balance. You will learn to handle side effects of cancer treatment through movement and meditation practice, get individual attention and adjustments suited for your body, and find relief from stress, anxiety and fatigue in a supported and safe environment. The class is open to anyone in any stage of cancer treatment, cancer survivors, and caretakers (friends & family).
