New to yoga?

What is Yoga?

The word YOGA means to Yoke or Join and the word HATHA literally means Sun/Moon or Balance. The practice of Hatha Yoga (balanced joining) is a physical practice and is the joining of breath with movement to balance to body, mind and spirit. When well-aligned movement is connected to complete breath we are able to quiet our mind, heal our body and create peace and wholeness in our being.

Where Do I Start?

As a new student, start with a Level 1 class (These classes are available on Saturday at 11:00 AM, Monday at 7:45 AM, Monday at 6:00 PM, or Tuesday at 10:45 AM). If you can’t make a Level 1 class, we suggest that you start with a Level 1-2  class (Preferably not a Flow 1-2, which moves a little faster). Choose a time that is convenient for you and make yoga a regular part of your life!

Try our New Student Special, $70 for 5 classes, or $135 for 10 classes.

Another option is to sign up for one of our Introduction to Yoga workshops – a 2-hour introductory class which is held every few months. Check our Workshops page for the next scheduled workshop and call to reserve your spot now!

If you have further questions, contact us. One of our front desk staff personnel will be happy to help you get started!
