2010 Anusara Yoga Teacher Training Program
Taught by Certified Anusara Instructor, Geri Portnoy

This year long Teacher Training program begins with a series of 3 Immersions to deepen your understanding of the principles of alignment and philosophy underlying Anusara Yoga . In order to become a great teacher, the journey begins by becoming a great yoga practitioner. The 4th Immersion segment is dedicated to cultivating the skills necessary to be a great teacher including the following:

• Sequencing for home practice and teaching
• Use of props and modifications of poses
• Adjustments in poses and Therapeutic adjustments
• The art of progressive teaching toward a pinnacle pose
• Creating a theme for your yoga class
• Skills of teaching including use of voice, positioning in the room, and mirroring students

Immersion I January 30/31, February 27/28, March 13/14

Diving Deeper
Immersion 2 April 10/11, May 22/23, June 12/13

Journey of Awakening
Immersion 3 July 10/11, August 7/8, September 11/12

Stepping into the Seat of the Teacher
Immersion 4 October 16/17, November 6/7, December 4/5

Pricing:

One Yoga Immersion $695 before January 1 ($750 after January 1)
Yoga Immersion 1, 2 & 3 $1950 before January 1 ($2100 after January 1)
Year-long Teacher Training $2450 before January 1 ($2600 after January 1)
